About Fibdoku
Fibdoku is a puzzle game on Pocket Game: fibonacci meets Sudoku: pull matching numbers in from the row, column and box, and break the rocks before they lock the board. It is free to play instantly in your browser — no download and no sign-up — on phone, tablet and desktop.
How to play
Tap a number (or move with the arrow keys and press Space) to merge every matching number in its row, column and 3×3 box into it. It climbs one Fibonacci step per tile it absorbs: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13… Tiles fall to fill the gaps and new ones drop in; matching numbers that touch inside a box then merge on their own. Some new tiles are rocks: a merge breaks the rocks touching the tile it lands on. The run ends when nothing can merge.
Tips
- A merge breaks the rocks touching the tile you tap, so tap next to rocks to clear them.
- Rocks come more often as your best tile grows, so do not rush your biggest number.
- Matching numbers that touch inside a 3×3 box merge on their own; set them up for free chains.
